                            THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM
I wanted to share this Bible Tract that I wrote with you. Here you will see that true salvation is very simple to obtain and it is absolutely free, yet it will cost you everything. But Remember, he who gives up what he cannot keep to obtain that which he cannot lose is no fool. My God Bless you.

THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM
The Jew’s of Jesus Christ’s day was expecting the Messiah to come and to set up an earthly Kingdom in Israel. They were looking for a military leader, who would conquer the Romans, and rule over physical Israel. But here Christ in Luke 17:20-21 explains that his first Advent was not for that purpose. Yes he came to bring in a Kingdom, and it was indeed coming at that time, but it was not a Kingdom like earthly kingdoms.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?
1. It would not be planted on a parcel of land, but it would be established in the hearts of men.
2. It would not have a physical army, who battles against other men, but it would have a spiritual army that would battle in spiritual wars, against spiritual darkness.
3. It would not shed the blood of its enemies, but its king would shed his own blood and even die to save his enemies.
4. It would be a kingdom that did not close its borders to those who were seeking to enter, but one who compelled all to come and to drink of its water, and to eat of its food, and to be clothed by its favor. Oh what a Kingdom!

WHO ARE ITS CITIZENS?

A Kingdom is a territory ruled by a King. The law of the King governs all the territories that make up his Kingdom. Who makes up the Kingdom of Christ today? Those whose hearts are governed by Christ. All of those in Christ’s Kingdom have the law of God etched upon their hearts by the Spirit of God. [Romans 8:9].

Hebrews 8:10 ...I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

You see? The true Citizens of Christ’s current Kingdom of Grace are those who are born of the Spirit of GOD, who have the Spirit of GOD in them, and who have God’s royal law written in their hearts. God wrote that Law on Stone by “His Finger”, the finger of God is a symbol of the Spirit of GOD, and the Spirit of God always writes the same law. When you offer God your heart, he washes away all the scribble of sin by the blood of Christ [Revelation 1:5], and then he writes his law upon it. And out of love for our King we obey him [John 14:15].

A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS
The United States is called a melting pot, because it is a nation of immigrants. The Kingdom of Grace is also a melting pot [Revelation 5:9]. No man is naturally born into it, but the Kingdom is made up wholly of immigrants. All the citizens of Christ’s kingdom have  immigrated from one Kingdom to his Kingdom, by their own choice.

From what Kingdom has all migrated from? In the Spiritual realm, it is from the Kingdom of Darkness, which is ruled by the devil and sin. All have sinned, and thus all have been the servant to sin [Romans 3:23, John 8:24]. The Kingdom of Darkness is made up of all who have not immigrated to Christ’s Kingdom.

HOW DO WE ENTER HIS KINGDOM
Before anyone will leave his natural homeland for another, he must believe in that other. For instance.
No man who left the shores of Europe for the new world of America, left without believing it existed. And naturally if we believe a Kingdom exists, then we must believe it has a King. For there to be a Kingdom of Christ, there must be a Christ.

Secondly, we would naturally want to believe the King to be sane. No one would go to be a citizen to a Kingdom where the King was a monstrous lunatic. Thus to join Christ’s Kingdom, one must believe that Christ is the Son of GOD, who died for the sins of man, and was raised again the third day [
John 20:31, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4]; for if he is not the Son of God and if he didn’t do these things then he was a lying, blaspheming, lunatic! You see, either Jesus was insane and evil, or he is the Son of God; there can be no compromise.

AFTER WE BELIEVE, THEN WHAT?
Romans 10:9-10   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

What is required? There is a confession required! The one who wants to immigrate from the Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of Light, must confess that Jesus is Lord.

The acceptance of the Ruler of the Kingdom as your personal King is a natural step in the naturalization of an immigrant. Naturalization is the process by which citizenship is conferred to a foreigner.

Notice what must take place before a foreign immigrant can become an American Citizen. These quotes are taken from the Encarta Encylopedia.

“They [the immigrant] must have a knowledge of U.S. history and government and also be “attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States” .”

What does this mean? The person must have some knowledge of our history and our government, and also believe in the principles of our Constitution. Mustn’t we do the same thing to become a part of the Kingdom of Christ?
(3)
Yes, we must have some knowledge of Christ, of his life and death and resurrection. We must have a
basic understanding that his government is based upon Holiness; and we must be attached to, that is we must believe with affection, in the principles of his teachings and his law. If we don’t believe what he teaches and commands is right, then we cannot become a citizen of his Kingdom.

THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
What else must the one who seeks to become a citizen do?
“The applicants [must] swear allegiance to the U.S. and renounce allegiance to the foreign countries of which they were formerly citizens”.

After receiving a basic understanding of our history and government; and confessing belief in our Constitutional principles, the immigrant is to swear allegiance to the U.S. and renounce his allegiance to the kingdom that he was a citizen to. And it is the same for those who enter Christ’s Kingdom. When you confess “Jesus is Lord”, it means that you are confessing, “Jesus is my Lord”. You are saying: “I pledge allegiance to the Lamb, with all my strength, with all I am. I will seek to honor his commands. I pledge allegiance to the Lamb”.

RENOUNCING EVIL
Not only are the immigrants to the U.S. to pledge their allegiance to this nation, but they are to renounce their allegiance to the kingdom that they came out of. And it is the same for those who seek to enter the Kingdom of Christ. We must renounce the Kingdom of Darkness that we once belonged. What does it mean that we “renounce” the Kingdom of Darkness? Our renouncement must contain three things.

1. The Abandonment of the kingdom of Satan.
That is we are to repent of our sins; for sin is the power behind Satan’s Kingdom. Everything of the devil is to be put out of our life! All known sin is to be turned from.

2. Formally declare one's abandonment of it.
We are to publically make a confession that we have abandoned the Kingdom of Satan. For a new convert the way that this is done is through water Baptism.  Baptism is a type of burial, where we declare to the world that we have died to Satan’s sinful dominion [Mark 16:16, Romans 6:11].

3. Refuse to recognize Satan’s authority.
As a servant of Christ, Satan has no authority over you, and you are to refuse to recognize him as having any power in your life. The devil wants to deceive Christians into thinking that he still has power over them, but he doesn’t! If you are in Christ’s Kingdom sin does not have dominion over you, because Christ has delivered you from sins power and made you a new person
[Romans 6:14, Colossians 1:12-13, 1st Corinthians 6:11].

NOT FAR FROM THE KINGDOM

“Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.”
In Mark 12:34 Christ spoke to a man that realized the great principles of God; and Jesus told him he was not far from the Kingdom of God. Today there are multitudes and multitudes of men, who are not far from the Kingdom of God.
If you believe that the Bible is the faithful word of God; then you’re not far from the Kingdom of God.
If you feel guilty, because you have broken the Law of God, then you are not far from the Kingdom.
If you believe Jesus told the truth, then you are not far from the Kingdom of God.
Nay, you are standing right at the door with all of those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of
GOD, and who refuse to repent of all their sins and to renounce all the ways of the devil.

HOW CLOSE ARE YOU?
If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God; then you are one decision of the will away from entering into that Kingdom. In the Spiritual realm your hand is laid upon the door knob. And the forces of evil are working  feverishly to persuade you not to enter.

The Devil is coming to you and whispering:
“You can’t leave my Kingdom”.
“You will not be happy in the Kingdom of Christ”.
“You will have to give up too much if you go!”
“You don’t have to decide today, wait until a better time comes”.

But if you listen, you can hear the  voice of GOD, as he speaks through his Spirit saying; “Today is the day of Salvation, now is the accepted time... Harden not your heart”.
The Spirit and the Bride are calling also, “Whosoever will, let him Come!” [Rev.  22:17].
The Patriarchs and Prophets are screaming from the pages of the Bible: “Choose life! Choose life! Choose life!”
Even Christ, the King of glory stands just behind the door and calls: “Come onto me and I will in no wise cast you out!” [John 6:37].

What will you do? Will you believe the devil and walk away from the door? Will you continue to waver and take the chance of dying a citizen of darkness, and ending up in the lake of fire? All who are not registered in Christ’s book as one of his citizens will be lost [Revelation 20:15] You don’t have to go there! You will be safe if you will pledge your allegiance to Christ, and renounce Satan’s kingdom. The choice is yours: What will you choose?
